How To Find Happiness Before 2016

Floral Printed Shirt // Pull & Bear
Short Pants // Etienne Aigner
Sneakers // Guess

2015 is almost over! It's time to look back to the weirdest year ever. Why I said the weirdest year ever? Because every good and bad moment on 2015 always came to me like a lightning. Everything went so fast, every single good and bad moment came without knocking, they came like a zig zag hit me like a dart. But I feel grateful of everything that happened in 2015 because this year has taught me a lot of things and you should be grateful too!

By the end of the year, I started to reflect on the things that happened in 2015 and I know that 2016 would be a great year if you let yourself to have a great year. As a person with anxiety disorder, trying to be less over thinking is the hardest thing that I could do, but this year I feel like I need to see everything in a different perspective and I am really surprised with what I've got.

Friendship is everything
Nothing could beat my sorrow on June and that's when I know which one is my very best friend. You could have a lot of friends, but best friend is different. I'm grateful to have them in my life and when you surround yourself with positive people, your life would be so much better. Never let anyone drain your energy out of you by doing anything that makes you feel bad about yourself, your life, or anything. You deserve better!

Detox and Workout
I've been doing this a lot in 2015 and I think it's been a few months since the last time I did a Juice Cleanse, feels like I want to do it again before 2015 is over. The first benefit from detox is your health but I have my own thought with Juice Cleanse and anything like that. I want to clean all the toxic (any kind of toxic, including bad things that happened in my life) and it works really well, because it would make your body feel so much better. Beside Juice Cleanse, Cardio is also my favorite thing.

Spread Your Happiness
I rarely get mad, but when I do..It's gonna be a doomsday because usually I put my anger somewhere and one day I will blow up at the worst time. Being mad is exhausting! I lost my focus, my days are ruined, etc. That's when I start to put this in my mind: Whatever you decide to do, make sure it makes you happy. So yes, I start to make sure everything that I do will makes me happy and I kinda ignore what other people think as long as it's a positive things to do. I think everyone deserve to be happy, but are you ready to make yourself happy? Because sometimes you should do things that you never do before to be happy, get out from your comfort zone and find your happiness.

Start With A Blank Space
I read this quote somewhere and I can't remember where is it from but they said Don't get burnt by the same flame twice. New year is the best time to write your life in a blank space. You can't take back everything that happened to you in 2015 and you can choose not to look back and take it as a lesson. You can't forget things that happened to you though, but you can laugh about it one day. I don't hate the bad things that happened to me, because apparently it made me understand that I'm stronger than I thought, I know I have a very amazing best friends and a really great mother, I figured out that a psychopath is real and she might reading this blog right now (what?!? Oh hey.. hello there!), I know how to deal with my anxiety way much better than last year, and so many things that I can't explain one by one. Make a list and you know that you're more than ready for a new year.

Only 4 more days and you will say goodbye with 2015, make the best of it. End this year with happiness so it will leave you with a nice memories. Happy Holiday, everyone!

Purple Outer // Custom Made

I can't believe it's already September! So many event this month from Runway Show, Jakarta Comic Con and the day that I've been waiting for: Bring Me The Horizon new album, That's The Spirit. September is getting me so exciting. Speaking about That's The Spirit, apart from the album title, I was impress that BMTH new songs could explain what I am feeling in the past few weeks. You know that kind of feeling when you found some songs and the lyrics are so related to you, it's like the song represent your mind. One of their song called "Throne" for the example:

"So you can throw me to the wolves, tomorrow I will come back, leader of the whole pack. Beat me back and blue, every wound will shape me, every scar will build my throne. The sticks and the stones that you used to throw have built me an empire".

The worst thing in my life, the people who secretly try to drag you down with them, and all those things who could possibly be the bad things in your life could be your weapon to have a better life and to make your dreams come true. I'm so glad some people throw me to the wolves and I already come back as a leader of the whole pack. I'm grateful that I could make the worst thing in my life as a trigger to change my life, it works! Every pain has a reason, that's your choice for you to turn it around. If you think your life is sucks or you need a better month, give September a chance. Here's a few ways for you to nailed it on September.

1. Leave your comfort zone.
This is the hardest part but it's the only way to change your life. Of course it's hard to leave your comfort zone because your life would be find but it won't help you to climb to a better place. Challenge yourself and you will surprise with everything that you've got after you leave your comfort zone.

2. Think outside the box.
If you want to leave your comfort zone, you have to think outside the box. Make a list of something that you want to achieve and how to get there in so many possible ways.

3. Excercise more.
Excercise every morning could help you to get a spirit for a whole day. I love doing cardio and 8 minute abs every morning. It's pretty fun!

4. Surround yourself with inspiring people.
I read somewhere (I'm sure it's Pinterest but I forgot the source) that the 5 closest person to you could reflect yourself. So if you surrounded with the lazy people, there's a chance for you to be as lazy as they are. Being surround by people who wants to achieve their big dreams could inspire you to work even harder and you could even support each others. But don't worry, if your friends isn't have a huge ambition to reach their dreams, you could put it as an example that you don't wanna be like them, you have to be better. Get inspired with every little things around you.

5. If all fails, hang on and try again.
If you still have a bad day after you tried a lot of things, hang on.. don't stop trying. You're not the one who has a bad day. Try harder to make yourself happy, there's always a way and sometimes you don't realize what it is, you just have to figure it out with a clear mind.

Now that's the spirit and go beat your September!

Down But Not Out: Things You Need To Do If You Have Frenemy

Cross Keys T-Shirt // DBNO
Shorts // Etcetera
Vans Era Leopard Black True White // Vans

Reppin' my favorite DBNO T-shirt and I go really casual today, back to basic! I'm sure you all knew this clothing line owned by Josh Franceschi from You Me At Six I love his band and I love how he named his clothing line, Down But Not Out. That's some kind of feelings that remind me of my frenemy. Do you ever have a frenemy? Someone who really is a friend but also a rival. Well, I have a frenemy. The question is: Should we keep them as a friend? The best answer would be leave them because it's really exhausting to have a frenemy. It's like we have to pretend we like each others while actually we really don't like each others, heard them say a lot of mean things when you're with your friends and your frenemy also happened to be there. But sometimes, there's a reason why you still keep them. Most reason of why we still keep our frenemy is both of you have a mutual friends. This is a very uncomfortable situation. And if you can't get rid of your frenemy, it's not the end of the world. You could set your goal to be a better person, better life, and don't you ever waste your energy to hate on them.

When my frenemy hurt my feelings, I'm down but not out. (Now you could see my point of wearing my DBNO t-shirt on this post). It hurts but I don't wanna waste my time to hate her or make a secret poison for her, I promise to myself that I will be way much better than her. I will be twice successful as her and I will be a person that I really want to be. When I was thinking about this.. it makes me focus to chase my dreams, not to make her jealous but to make myself better. Anybody could bring you down but you're the one who could step up your game. I'm glad because after a few months I have 3 jobs that I love, I have a lot of friends, I put bandage on every part of my life that I need to fix. And that's how you won the awkward war with your frenemy! You will laugh back to the day when she hurt your feelings and now you have a good life and she's no better than you. No need to fight with them, be fabulous and say sorry to your frenemy if your back hurt their knife.

If you have a frenemy, share your story with me! It would be great to hear what you all dealing with it.

5 Style Essentials To Save Your Day

Boys Tank Top & Fedora // H&M
Black Jeans Shorts // Etienne Aigner
Grey Outer // Gaudi
Sneakers Wedges // New Look
Tiger Bag // Kenzo

es·sen·tial
əˈsen(t)SHəl/
noun
plural noun: essentials

a thing that is absolutely necessary.

I'm sure everyone has their own style essentials. Stuff that you always need to wear everyday until you didn't realize those stuff become your authentic style. It's not about trends because it's not seasonal. You could wear it everyday or it could save you from those kind of day when you can't decide which clothes that you should wear today. Beside, it's a necessary stuff but it could keep you in style. For me, my style essentials could help me through the day, wearing on my emergency style alert and that's why it's essentials. This is my top list of my style essentials:

Watch
I never go out without my watch. I don't like being late, I need it to know what time is it to catch up with the train schedule or something and I also like to wear something around my wrist. I wear a watch since I was a kid. I used to wear Guess and in the past few years I wear Juicy Couture watch collection. I love their design, totally authentic with their logo and charms. If you could choose a great watch, it would be looks so much better than some bracelet on your wrist. It would keep you on time and you will never go out of style with it. I rarely bought a watch because I always choose a great one that I know I will like it for the next 5 years or more. Currently, Ted Baker watch collection stole my attention. I really love their design and as soon as I saw it, I add it to my shopping wishlist. The great part is Ted Baker watch collection available on Zalora and that would make it easier for me to buy it.

Hat
Fedora is my favorite. Why hat could be a style essentials? Because you could hide your bad hair day but nobody knows because you look fashionable with those hat. If you want a simple street style you could choose a beanie or even snapback. You will never know when you will have a bad hair day, so be prepare.

Basic T-Shirt
I never think this is essentials until I can't match my galaxy skirt. I have too much printing t-shirt and I just realize that I really need a basic t-shirt. You don't have to buy every colors to match your wardrobe. The most important thing is black and white, so it would be easier for you to combine with everything.

Stiletto Heel
I'm one of those girl who's not really into stiletto heel and recently I find out that I really need it. When I want to go to my friend's wedding, I was pretty surprise that I owned ankle boots, platform shoes, sneakers, sneakers wedges and more sneakers. Where's my stiletto heels? Don't let this thing happen to you. Stiletto heel is really match with almost every dress that you own, so yes.. you really need it.

Outer/Jacket
If I don't have much time to style myself when I'm about to go out, I always pick a tanktop or t-shirt and mix it with a long black outer or a jacket. Because a simple shirt could looks cooler if you add a nice outer.

That's the top list of my style essentials. So if you're planning to have a short shopping list, make sure you buy something that you will always need and you could wear it anytime for most of your occasion. I wonder if I miss something on my list, you all so welcome to tell me: What's your style essentials? Maybe I could add it to my list.

Current Obsession: Ant-Man

Shirt Dress // Zara
Sneakers Wedges // New Look
Salem Bag // Elle

I think this is the best time for me to write about Current Obsession and in this case, my current obsession is Ant-Man. Everyone has a different obsession and you can't judge their obsession. Even though their obsession sounds a little weird for you but I'm sure everyone has a reason for their obsession. I have a reason as well. I've been waiting for Ant-Man movie for God knows how long. To be honest at first I have some thoughts that this movie could be silly or it could be totally awesome, there's no in between. But since I found out that Paul Rudd would be Scott Lang, I'm 100% sure this movie would be rad. And I end up watching this movie twice in the cinema.
First of all, it's a Marvel movie and Paul Rudd is a superhero. From the very first scene, I feel like a 10 years old who finally could see her superhero right in front of her eyes. And they brought us to the prison scene, BAM close up Paul Rudd on the very big screen and remember when Scott is walk out from the prison and met Luis? Thanks God I didn't jump to the seat in front of me to give Scott a hug (because it's IMAX, you know what I mean.. the effect). My next thought for the scene when Scott is believe himself that it would be easy for him to get a job and then "Welcome to Baskin Robbins", that's how I know this movie would have Paul Rudd vibes or let's say hilarious. By the end of the movie, I always said 'Awesome... I need to watch it again). And for second times I watched it on IMAX which is I fully recommend to watch it there.

My next stop would be Captain America: Civil War and I have to wait until 2016. Ant-Man and Iron Man would be there, could I be any more exciting? My inner nerds is really obvious when Marvel movies is coming. But obsessed over something could make our life a little bit more exciting, I guess. As long it doesn't bother your work or something. Sometimes daily life could be so bored, like you have to wake up every morning, you have to workout, and start your job. And there goes your obsession over something, it could entertained you a little bit. It makes everything seems a little more exciting.
