March Madness Recap

1. Blogger at Indonesian Fashion Week 2015.
Having so much fun blogging for Indonesian Fashion Week 2015. Snap a lot of photos at the Fashion Show, tried to eat super fast on the food truck because we have to catch up to the next fashion show and running back and forth with 13 inch ankle boots, ain't it fun?

2. Kue Cubit Experience
Helping my mom to start her food business, modern kue cubit (traditional snack from Indonesia, if you translate it: pinch cake). Before she try to make it, we went to a lot of fancy kue cubit places as a research and for my tummy pleassure. Red Velvet kue cubit is the best and I kinda like the bubblegum flavour too.

3. Got a Friendship ring & necklace
Finally reunite with my best friends from college after almost a year. We bought ourselves a friendship ring and necklace as we went to Cibubur together for a weekend getaway.

4. One Direction came to Indonesia
I have a huge crush on Louis Tomlinson & like their songs but to be honest I wasn't a huge fan until they went to Jakarta. It started on my clothing line twitter when I defend a lot of Directioners who can't meet them because the hide and seek drama with the music promoters. I didn't realize I drag myself to the fandom and love them even more and more and more, cause I can love you more than this! hahaha. And march is also the biggest One Direction drama of all time, here's the summary:
- Louis broke up
- Zayn cheating rumors
- Zayn didn't make it to Jakarta
- Zayn leaving 1D
- Louis slay Naughtyboy (Hail to Louis!)
- Zayn new single with Naughtyboy
- Someone throw a lightstick and hit Harry in the eye (This should be part of the tragic story too)
The funniest thing is after all those tragic things, I love them even more! #sorrynotsorry

5. Selling In The Park
My friend and I embrace our entrepreneur spirit at the park. Selling vintage goods and kue cubit green tea! It was so fun and we also visit a group of women's house to sell the clothes and we sold a lot of stuff. They spent a lot of cash for our stuff and they are also so nice.

Well, that's the summary of my march madness. I wish April would be a better month!

Kemilau Sriwijaya: Back To Nature with Indonesian Culture

From year to year I wouldn't miss a chance to attend Indonesia Fashion Week because it's the biggest fashion event in Indonesia. IFW 2015 for the 3rd time held at Jakarta Convention Center and I'm glad I could be part of it as a blogger. On Day 3, I had a chance to see the amazing Fashion Shows by Hj. Eliza Alex Noerdin, Head of Dekranasda Sumatera Selatan with Defrico Audy. There are a lot of great fashion show and exhibition and this one is grab my attention because they showed us Indonesian Culture with a modern vibe and it turns out to be so many beautiful dress. Songket is one of Sumatera Selatan traditional clothes and you could see how beautiful it is on Kemilau Sriwijaya Fashion Show. I captured some of the great moment from the fashion show, hope you all enjoy it.

It's obvious that they tried to show Indonesian Culture in a modern way with Kemilau Sriwijaya as a theme. And this is amazing how they turned songket to be a dress or even a blazer while actually the songket itself is already beautiful. You could also see that they're following 2015 trends which is Back To Nature but also combining with black and gold, to be honest that's my favorite. Also, white and silver which make the collection even more glamorous.

Doraemon Stand By Me Premiere

First of all, this is a super late post. Been really busy with a lot of project lately. so sorry! So, a few weeks ago (Wednesday, December 3rd) I was invited by Kartu Pos Indonesia to Doraemon Stand By Me Premiere at Blitz Megaplex. Super stoked to see the movie because I'm a huge fan of Doraemon since I was a kid, I mean who doesn't? I know this movie would tear my heart apart because a few months ago I watched the trailer and it makes me cry like a baby. So I believe the movie would make me crying like a lunatic.

As an early Mother's Day present from me, I gave the other invitation for my mom because she also exciting for this movie. And yes, that's us goofy-ing with Doraemon mask. With a huge bucket of popcorn we enter the studio on 7pm, no expectation beside a great movie until the host tell us that they are inviting someone special and he's all the way from Japan. Who is he? And then Nobita appeared, the real Nobita and everyone was like whooooa. He looks sad because his friend couldn't come but a few minutes later...... Doraemon came in and everyone was like aaaaw!!! Doraemon looks super cute with his short leg, litterally die by their cuteness and Doraemon could blink his eyes. Couldn't take a perfect picture because the studio is too dark but here's the pic. And before the movie start it, the host took a photo while all the audience put Doraemon mask on their face, hilarious and fun.

Before I watch the movie I already prepare a box of tissue, in case I cried a lot. And I was right, I cried a lot..can't stop crying! Even a man beside me cried a lot. One thing for sure, when Doraemon have to leave Nobita, it was remind me of my cat. He passed away 11 months ago and trust me, it is really hurt to lost especially if you live with your pet for 13 years. Maybe that's why I can't stop crying when I watched the movie. After all, really love this movie because we could see a lot of scenes from the past (series and comic), how Nobita fight for his love, Shizuka, but the most incredible thing is the friendship between Doraemon and Nobita. Love the ending, to be honest I'm still crying until the credit titled appeared on the screen hahaha. Love the soundtrack too, Himawari No Yakusoku by Motohiro Hata.

Well, you still have a time to watch it on the theatre. Don't miss a chance! I came home with a lot of free Doraemon Merchandise. Great to be there at the premiere.

Outfit Of The Trunk Show Day

Topshop dress, Yves Saint Laurent bag, New Look shoes, Forever 21 Leather Jacket

Still from Fashion Lab opening party. Me..wearing a girly dress is rarely happen but I wore it though for this event. Because the dress code is edgy & contemporary, I added a leather jacket plus 13cm heels with a lot of studded around it, nailed it or not?. But anyway I got featured on weare.zocko.com (I took the first picture from their website). Apart from the trunk show, there's an Italian Theme on Pacific Place at the moment and I love that spot so I took a moment to take a photo for a minute. It's like a little cute cafe in Italy.

Found this photo from Galeries Lafayette's Twitter, spotted myself at the queue of Fashion Lab opening party. That was a long line and people seems really exciting about this event, cause I'm psyched for this trunk show. One thing that I haven't post from this event is a SELFIE. Well, nowadays it seems like it's a must thing to do in any event, so here's a selfie of Tex Saverio and I.

My Favorite Looks From Fashion Lab Opening Party

Attending Fashion Lab "Indonesian Young Designers Put Forward" Opening Party at Galeries Lafayette, Jakarta. Galeries Lafayette collaborating with Indonesian Fashion Forward to intruduce the must seen designers of the moment. It was amazing to see a lot of lovely collection by so many Indonesian designer such as Tex Saverio, Toton, Patrick Owen, Yosafat Dwi Kurniawan, Major Minor, Fbudi, Gloria Agatha, Monstore, and Monday to Sunday. The trunk show is major! And great to see it in the front row so I could get a better look to those beautiful clothes. I tried to make a list of which one is my favorite, it's hard because all of it are beautiful but here's my favorite looks from Fashion Lab Opening Party.

Collection by one of my favorite designer Tex Saverio. Extremely wonderful as always. So elegant and beautiful. When I saw his collection, all I could think is 'I should have that clothes in my closet or something would really go wrong' cause these collection is to die for. These are definitely my favorite looks from this event. But apart from these I still have a lot of favorite looks from other designers, check them out!

Love this matching top and skirt from Major Minor. Most of their collection using black and white combination, perfect color combination for any occasion.

Monstore collection are rad. Kind of clothes that I would wear and it's gonna be an awesome street style.

Amazing black dress by Fbudi. I'm easy to fall in love with black dress and this one is simple but beautiful at the same time. It's major!

I want that Penguins skirt by Gloria Agatha. Her collection involve many penguins and that's so cute. This is one of my favorite from her collection.

This is very unique, design by Patrick Owen. when I saw his design, all I could think is Bill Kaulitz from Tokio Hotel. That looks is perfect for Bill Kaulitz, unique style and definitely would be great for his next tour. Wish I could styles him with those outfit.

That's some of my favorite! By the way,  Before I end this post, after many years I adore this amazing designer, I finally had a chance to meet Tex Saverio in person. Such a talented and super humble guy. This is definitely made my day.

Hit The Local Fest: Creative Festival

Had a blast on Local Fest which is held at Grand Indonesia a few weeks ago. Fully satisfied because there's 2 areas: Fashion Area & Food Area. Two things I love the most in one place so yes I'm having fun. Spot a lot of nice stuff but this time I spent more time on the Food & Beverage Area. Maybe because I came with an empty stomach but hey, I'm never not hungry anyway. I bought a very delicious fried mushroom and the mushroom booth is pretty crowded, no wonder because that was really yummy. For the dessert as you could see above, my favorite one: Coconut Ice cream inside the real coconut with so many toppings on it. I also bought Hongkong street snack but too bad I didn't take a picture of it because they went straight to my tummy.

Enough with the food talk, I found an interesting spot on this event: Retro Vibe! There's a lot of black frames and a vintage vespa plus a huge painting of "Saya Nyuci Sambil Nyanyi" that's hilarious, by the way..that's a quote from 1953. How cool is that?

Gogirl Passion Expo 2014

Always exciting for a fashion event. This time is for GoGirl Passion Expo 2014! Held at The Hall, Senayan City. As always I went with my fashion partner in crime, Friska. So many great local brand and their booth are really crowded with the people. It's kinda hard to jump into the booth because so many people are so exciting to grab their favorite stuff. We got so many free stuff and there's also a free photobooth! What I really love the most from this event is their concept which is 'Passion' and I love their decoration. Because it's Gogirl event (one of the most famous magazine in Indonesia), I think the theme and decoration totally describe the magazine itself. Apart from Fashion, they also got so many food & beverage booth. Yes, you could always find me there because I love food so much!

When I'm wondering around the event, I found this cute booth selling some unique toys. I'm always into toys, forget your age because toys makes people happy, right?

Dare to sit on the dream job's seat? That's what I'm talking about earlier, the decoration! Love all of it and fall in love with those colors. Make me thing to put more frame on my house. And look at the inspiring quotes behind the desk: "Passion Over Obsession" maybe those would bring you to be Editor in Chief or any kind of dream job that you're obsessed for years.

Last but not least, I'm featured on Gogirl articles from this event about the street style! You might want to see the articles so here ya go: Street Style at Gogirl Passion Expo
